On May 9, 2020, while The Front Steps Project was still underway, we launched a companion series: The Heroes Project, a tribute to the nurses, doctors, first responders, and essential workers who kept showing up for our community through the hardest months of the pandemic. We photographed more than 25 local families on their own front steps and porches, honoring the everyday courage that carried Seaford and the surrounding towns through 2020.
